At Bringhurst Community Church, we’re kicking off a powerful new series starting today:
Spiritual Habits. This multi-week journey will help us explore how consistent, intentional habits can shape our faith, strengthen our walk with Christ, and deepen our everyday relationship with God.
We live in a world that’s constantly shifting—full of noise, distractions, and endless to-do lists. But Scripture invites us into a different rhythm. One rooted in rest, discipline, and a deep connection to our Creator.
“Discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness.”— 1 Timothy 4:7 (NASB)
Spiritual habits aren't about earning God’s love—He’s already lavished that on us through Christ. Rather, these habits are ways we respond to His love, forming patterns that help us stay aligned with His heart and purposes.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll look at practices like:
Daily Scripture reading and meditation
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105
Consistent prayer and listening
“Pray without ceasing.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17
Worship, both corporate and personal
“Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.” — Psalm 95:6
Sabbath rest and reflection
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Serving others with love and humility
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others.” — 1 Peter 4:10
Whether you're brand new to church or you've been walking with the Lord for decades, we believe this series will equip you with practical tools and spiritual encouragement to grow in grace and purpose.
We don’t have an exact end date for the series—because spiritual growth isn’t about checking a box. It’s a lifelong pursuit. So come as you are, bring a friend, and join us as we build habits that shape our souls for the long haul.
Worship with us this Sunday at 10:30 AM

Let’s grow together—heart, mind, and spirit.
