Returning to Kokomo Rescue Mission – September 26

On September 26, Bringhurst Community Church will be returning to Kokomo Rescue Mission for another opportunity to serve.

Sometimes serving others doesn’t require a complicated plan. It simply requires showing up, lending a hand, and being willing to care for the people God places in front of us.

That is what this day is about.

Our Church will be spending time at Kokomo Rescue Mission serving alongside their team and helping provide for people in our surrounding communities. While a meal or an act of service may seem small, we believe those moments can mean much more. They remind people that they are seen, valued, and cared for.

Jesus continually showed us that faith is something we live out through the way we treat and serve others.

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”Mark 10:45

We are grateful for organizations like Kokomo Rescue Mission that serve individuals and families every day, and we are thankful for the opportunity to come alongside them.

September 26 isn’t just another date on the calendar. It is another chance to put our faith into action.
